About Cindy Lathrop

​

Cindy takes her inspiration from her love of nature and gardening.  Working plein aire as well as in her studio, she creates watercolors exploring natural forms and shapes, ranging from expansive landscapes of the Southwest to intimate views of botanical life.

 

She has taught watercolor classes and participated in workshops throughout the Midwest and four Corners regions.  Her work is part of private collections in Colorado, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Maryland, Minnesota, Ohio and New Mexico.  Cindy currently lives and works in Durango, Colorado.
